New Pagans

New Pagans are; Cahir O’Doherty (Jetplane Landing/Fighting With Wire), Claire Miskimmin (Girls Names), Lyndsey McDougall, Conor McAuley & Allan McGreevy. To date the band have released 5-stand alone singles and delivered shows to sold out audiences in their home town (Belfast) and The Roundhouse London (supporting Frank Turner). The band closed out 2018 with a storming debut in Dublin as part of Hard Working Class Heroes Festival and then disappearing into Analogue Catalogue Studios w/ Julie McLarnon (Lankum, King Creosote, Brigid Mae Power, Yorkston/Thorne/Khan to lay down tracks on the same board used to record Bowie, Roxy Music & Queen.

The bands audible influences range from PJ Harvey to Sonic Youth while lyrically the band deliver protest songs, songs of suffrage including an ode to Lily Yeats, sister of Jack and William B and a key mover in the world of Irish arts and crafts back in the day along with her younger sister, Elizabeth.
