Kevin Quigley & The Great Ideas deliver a captivating fusion of Irish folk and rock, where Americana soul meets heartfelt storytelling. Described by Hot Press Magazine as having “cracked the code” of making Americana Irish , Quigley’s music balances the poetic soul of Bob Dylan and Glen Hansard with the modern edge of Wilco and Tom Petty.
Renowned for an infectious stage presence and magnetic chemistry, the group transitions seamlessly between Quigley’s intimate, acoustic solo performances and the high-energy, country-rock spirit of the full band. This versatility has earned them a loyal following and a string of sold-out headline shows at iconic venues such as Upstairs @ Whelan’s. To date, they have supported legendary international acts including Mary Black and Hermitage Green, and have been featured across over 50 major media outlets including RTE and Hot Press.
